A change in direction...

A new year, a new resolution. This year I have vowed to blog more... a lot more. I will be expanding this blog into other frugal money saving ways I come across instead of just focusing on couponing. 

Couponing is a great way to save money but currently I have limited access to a printer (would have to travel all the way to uni to print- which is no good for those rare coupons) so I must branch out and find other ways to save money.

My Primark haul (another one!) RRP £52 I paid just £20 for both hauls.

I just couldn't help but drag my boyfriend around another Primark in the hope of picking up more bargains, and I found them by the bucket load!

There were summer tops for just £1, and skirts and shorts just £2! You may notice that there are a range of different sizes I've chosen in the clothes and that is mainly because I was so in love with it I was determined to squeeze into it. 

I've managed to get plenty of outfits for next summer for just £20! RRP is almost triple that! (Haul 1 cost £12 for RRP £32.50 and haul 2 cost £8 for RRP £19.50 so I got £52 worth of clothes for just £20!)

End of season sales- Primark and my gorgeous £1 dress!

As summer draws to a close many shops drastically reduce the prices on their summer items in order to clear more room for their winter stock & Primark's sale is not to be missed. 

I personally love Primark, sure there are some pieces that I would not ever even consider wearing but that is true of most clothes shops. And it's no wonder its popular amongst teenage girls- they have really fashionable clothing for a  very reasonable price and their sales are incredible. 

Right now there is a sale on with most tops priced around £2 and dresses around £5! I actually found this amazing dress for £3 but when it was scanned at the checkout it came up as a £1! It is the best pound I've ever spent. 

In total I got 5 items for just £12! Whereas my boyfriend bee-lined for the mens clothes while I was distracted by the sale items and managed to spend £36 on the same amount of items albeit on things he needed.
